I'm thinking about installing a kick start on my 2016 Sprint 150. Is that possible? Is there a kit for that? Or is it best to just leave it alone?
Thanks

Not possible for fuel injected models.

You can just glue an LX kickstarter on to the transmission cover. It will function just as well on the Sprint as it does on the LX.

Thanks for the replies. I'm learning something new every day. I think I'll get out the glue 😂

The vast majority of reliable motorcycles and scooters today have fuel injection and no kick starter. There are bikes with kick starters and fuel injection, and bikes with kick starters, fuel injection and no battery, but most companies that won't drop a disassembled scooter in your driveway for $800 have progressed to the point that the electric start system is reliable enough that you don't need one. So most modernish bikes with carburetor don't have a kickstarter either.

Modern Vespa is the premier site for modern Vespa and Piaggio scooters. Vespa GTS300, GTS250, GTV, GT200, LX150, LXS, ET4, ET2, MP3, Fuoco, Elettrica and more.
