The vast majority of reliable motorcycles and scooters today have fuel injection and no kick starter. There are bikes with kick starters and fuel injection, and bikes with kick starters, fuel injection and no battery, but most companies that won't drop a disassembled scooter in your driveway for $800 have progressed to the point that the electric start system is reliable enough that you don't need one. So most modernish bikes with carburetor don't have a kickstarter either.
