Hi, i have some question about problem with my crankshaft. The end of the cranckshaft is broken with nut stuck. I was wondering if there is some other solution for this without changing whole cranckshaft? Now there is no space for new nut and washers.

Oh. How did that happen?

I think the only solution is a new shaft

Not judging -but looks like impact wrench or breaker bar used in wrong direction. Only solution is-New crank.

I would bet not having a variation holding tool and improvising with something to hold while wrenching nut in wrong direction. cluster all the way

Thanks everyone for answering! Main problem was the new nut that somehow stuck at the end of crankshaft. When i tryied to unscrew it, crankshaft broke with nut at end. That fan wheel was broken in the procces, i have new one but crankshaft i dont. I will learn the hard way, no biggie.

Maybe find an engine out of an insurance write-off. eBay search?

Where is local? Europe, I guess (300e = 300 Euros)?

300e sounds like a bargain to what we pay in the states! When my old GTS needs to be rebuilt, maybe I can bring it to your mechanic?
