Hi - I've been slowly removing the bodywork in preparation for replacing the manual seat release cable - I've found where the PO stored their spare screws and frame tabs, and some mouse snacks. The metalwork under the battery tray was very rusty - so another job added.

One of the glovebox hinges was very loose, and the retaining plastic for the hinge screw had been snapped off (luckily also rattling around in the bottom).
I could glue this back on - but I,m guessing it wont be a strong join - any other solutions to fixing the metal bracket in place?

I don't think you have many options besides expoxy repair.

Did you find the broken stud part? I have a glued repair that's held up for many years now. I used ABS glue (plumbers cement) which chemically welds the plastic (assuming yours is also ABS)

ABS glue- great I'll try that, and maybe some epoxy type around the screw tab to re-enforce.
