I am not really good at taking "not available" at face value. A while back I decided I wanted a corner minibar, alas, "not available". It took a while, and perseverance. 3 tap tower for home-brew, freezer, sink and faucet, mirrored shelving. Remote hot side refrigerator so there's no noise.

Now I'd like a trailer to go with my red gts, yea, "not available". So, it starts with a gts front end, and ends with the apple of my eye. Wish me luck.

Hmmm, crickets. No one wondering how I imagine a front suspension is the ticket for a vespa themed scooter trailer ?. Cut the stem off about 20 mm above the bearing race, thread the resulting stub. Fashion a plate say 5 mm thick with a hole for the stem, attach it sandwiched between a nut and the bearing race. Fashion another plate with a hole that the bearing race flange can pass through, attach this to the front fender mount flange with three bolts to keep the stem from being able to rotate. With these two mounting points about 50 mm apart, you have a place to begin building a frame to support the trailer load. I work in the packing industry where stainless steel scrap is readily available to me. I have not come to a conclusion of if I should use 10mm stainless rod to build curved truss style framing members, or instead use 2mm stainless sheet to build box beam type of framing. Decision's , decision's. After creating the skeleton of the trailer, use blue foam and some fiberglass to create a plug that is then used to produce a female mold. Use the mold to create a trailer shell, then attach the frame to the inside with overlays of fiberglass. Fiberglass internal wheel well to cover the suspension, cut out the wheel opening. All framing hidden inside the shell, gts rear lights to make the trailer have "the look", sleek rounded vespaesk shaped, courageous red to match my scoot.

Sounds interesting, I'll be watching to see how it unfolds.
