Recently bought an ET4 125 Leader for 350 as it kept cutting out, couldn't be bothered chasing the issue and was looking to a big trip so i replaced the plug, lead and coil, ecu was replaced with an immobilisor cut out model. Starter relay replaced, carb stripped and cleand, starter stripped and minted, oil and filter changed. She now, as expected, runs and starts perfectly, everything that could go wrong is new and i am waiting for a 'stage six' belt, vario, spring, rollers kit from Italy to complete.
17k kilometers so loads of compression, in fact it struggles with it sometimes and gives a ring noise fron the bendix but that is my next port of call.
Looking forward to my trip from Blackpool to Durham on bthe B roads to see my Mam when the weather improves.
After working on this and riding it i am in love with the knuckle scraper, a pig to work in there with fat arthritic fingers but what reward, excellent build quality and so easy to ride! The carb is huge with a pump squirt and an enormous diaphram, beautiful work for a 125!
Just by working on this bike i can tell it will run forever. I would trust it to go anywhere! Had all manner of big scary bikes and carry the limp and scars to prove it but i like this bike more than any of them (It dosent want to kill me, what's not to love)
Thanks to everyone on here, i gleamed al the info i needed from this invaluable site and a trusty Haynes manual and thanks for having me, i hope i get the chance to give as much back.

If the high compression is stressing the standard battery, consider a LiFePO4 one - they're now the same price as a decent Yuasa lead-acid, but with double or more CCA and the voltage will stay at 13V right up until nearly completely discharged. It's transformed our experience with a 190 kit fitted to an LX150.
