Hey everyone.

Stumped on how to remove these washer caps on each end of the bottom of the fork to access the needle bearings in the fork. This is for a 65 sprint.

Any tips on how to remove the caps?

Thank you.

The push in. Try a screw driver or punch and tap gently.

I figured. I just didn't want to start hammering and then mess things up.

Thank you Gick.

This bearing system can be brought brand new. The earlier style cannot. So if you went nuclear on it, it is replaceable with like for like.
