Modern Vespa

It has been a while since I rode Paint Rock Valley and Crow Mountain and I wanted to see how my new GTS would handle the curves. I also wanted to get some pics.

I stopped and took some pics on a couple of small bridges in Paint Rock Valley.






This next shot was taken on CR39 going down Crow Mountain. If you rode the cannonball last year you rode this curve.



If you followed the route rode past the rock zoo although you might have been too tired to notice.

Next up was riding up CR39. The section where it climbs up Crow Mountain makes the dragon seem like a highway in Kansas.

I stopped at one of the easier curves to take some pics.



I chose that curve because there is a good place to park.



I took this pic farther up the Mtn.

On the way home I stopped and took this pic on AL65 through Paint Rock Valley.



I decided to head over to Madison County Lake to take some pics. I saw this on the way and had to stop and take a pic.



Another classic vehicle.

Very nice photos - thanks for sharing. You have some nice country down there in Bama. No lack of twisties in your backyard. You also have decent weather for riding most of the year. Even with the mildest Winter in recorded weather history, still to cold to ride up here in Minnesota.

Thanks. You are right about Alabama. It's a great place to live if you like to ride. There is better riding in the mountains to the east but it is still very good here.

In another month all the leaves will have filled in and everything will be green. Right now we have some nice spring colors.
