There's no law that you have to use either the tractor light or the euro light. You could always go with something completely custom (depending upon what you're ultimate plan is for your build). The 2005 PX150 came with a euro style taillight. I'm not a huge fan of the style, but i'm not opposed to it either. What i do like about the tractor light is that it makes a P series look more vintage. I especially like that the mounting bracket can be painted, so it aesthetically follows the form of the rest of the body. I've also installed aftermarket flush mount taillights on some of my P's. Another one of my P's has a series 3 Lammy taillight mounted, and i think i like that one the best. There's just so many options depending upon how you want your finished project to look like.

Man oh man! That one slipped my mind. I do want the taillight to be led like my headlight. Wow, got more searching to do! I'll shelve the tractor and start lookin.

Here's the beast that's going in the front, I already have the mounting bracket. It is BAF and is very shallow so leaves plenty of space in the headset. It lights up all the reflective street signs too.

+1 Euro light!

My P has blinkers deleted and euro light. Makes a nice clean streamlined look. The tractor light looks good with blinkers for the US spec look. It would look out of place without blinkers IMHO.

So are you are welding the leggy holes closed? Clap emoticon And if you are going blinkerless, I think simpler, smoother Euro taillight works best, but get an older style IMO.

My 125 Super came w/ a precious 'tuna can' lite that I didn't care for so I used a PK taillight that is similar to early Euro Ps but smaller.

Thanks for that shot. I was wondering about the curved surface and that rubber gasket takes care of the problem, especially with the seam.

You should be fine, I wasn't positive so I pried back plastic lens guard and took a look. Mine is marked Veralux and has a black rubber base, not sure some bases aren't plastic.

Veralux is the Catalux I was mentioning earlier. It's the outlier in the Italian oem indicator world in that there are far fewer of them around than the ubiquitous siem and triom.

Regarding the PK version on a P series though, imo it looks bizarrely small. It might not distract as much with the blinkers deleted, but there's still quite a difference in size.

Stock-ish look, for the overall build; I'd go with euro light. They look very streamlined, if not a bit on the big side.
It fits the aesthetic of a P-series.

Custom look, the V50 is a favorite.

Voodoo's idea for a PK light, or ET3 light; is a good one too. Like a euro P light, but smaller. I debated on this option for my P, but the mounting holes are different than my euro light, and I didn't want to drill more holes.

I stumbled across these two while my head is swimming with different taillights. These ones are a little less bulky then the stock version. Wish I could see both sizes side by side.

The PX light is definitely more bulky (dare I say boxy) than the old PX light. It's the light fitted to 2nd gen Ps, aka EFLs in the UK, Lusso in Germany, arcobaleno in Italy and France.

Thanks, I like it! I suppose the line on the side is from the stock light? That gives me a good size comparison.

The PX job does look big and I was worried the PK light would be too small!😆 I do like the old school lights but my paint job will be too modern looking.

I'm really liking this light. It is a little bigger that I thought but fits the backend well.

I also found this fork link cover. Nice piece of aluminum. I have a special paint scheme lined up for it.
