Has anyone installed these to help with stock or aftermarket shocks?
Rumor is they make a difference

I have them, I installed with new Biturbo shocks, so I can't speak about the added benefits. My vespa is 15 years old. I felt new shocks were a must!

I put them in with stock struts many years ago. It tightened up the road feel in the rear suspension (less mushy), but you also feel more of the road (bumps and roughness).

I installed them while I had the engine out for a rebuild. Can't say they helped a lot, but then I'm not a connoisseur of fine handling.

But they're blue and shiny. I liked that right off. People throw a whole lot more $$ on their rides with less effect....

I put them on the rear of my GT200. Compare what you take out to these. The bushings I removed were like a bath sponge. Made the rear of the scooter much less flighty.

I use the Buchsenfuchs ones on front & rear. Same idea but slightly softer than Clauss but still way firmer than the OEM

Watch out for different inner diameter sizes. The thickness of shafts of my SIP shocks were too thick for the rear ones I bought so I had to make the whole bigger (used a dremmel). So measure the thickness of the shafts of your shocks and choose correctly.

^^ of course also applies to Clauss
