Modern Vespa

Good morning all,
I have a 2023 Vespa Sprint 150 S in which I cut the left turn signal wire by accident while trying to take the blinker off.
Is there any way I can salvage the wire by reconnecting it with electrical tape?
I have attached a photo showing where the wire was sliced. If not what to I have to purchase to replace the wire?

Haha, as in I know the feeling. Did the same thing when working on my Kymco.
Anyhoo, I just took the whole assembly off, spliced in about 6 inch of wiring with solder, and covered it with heat shrink tubing. I recommend the heat shrink tubing just because it is easier to thread the wire around things vs electrical tape, but if you are very tidy then even the tape will work fine.
Just test everything before buttoning up the final covers as it is very frustrating to get it together and find your connection isn't working. No, I didn't do that part.
