Modern Vespa

My wife and i sold our GTSs (2008 and 2003) a few years ago and got into motorcycles for a while. We eventually sold those and recently have acquired a well appointed 2017 GTV 300 that had 4 miles on it and a brand new 2024 GTS Super. Loving the changes to the new body style and the new tech options. Can't wait to get out and do some riding this summer!

How are you getting used to the keyless system? Both scoots are amazing!

I'm getting used to it but not sure I see the "advantages" yet, feels like more work than the old fashioned key

Welcome to the Impulsivo family, here is mine new March 1 this year. I echo your point about keyless, its a solution looking for a problem that doesn't really exist.

I like to warm up my bikes, just 2/3 mins before setting off, so I start the scoot then get my gloves helmet lock the door etc. Im paranoid about leaving the keys on a worktop as I don my gear and riding away! Something you cant do with a simple key

The trick is to put the fob in your pocket and leave it there.
No reason to take it out, ever.

Can you give a feedback on how the gts is on rides? I'm picking mine up next week and i'm so excited,coming from a primavera 150 .Getting the same color as yours

If it's a 300 gts, be prepared to treat that throttle gently, or you will have to hang on tight.
There is quite a difference in acceleration between the two Vespas.
I know you will enjoy the difference, but be prepared.
