Hello All,

New member here, I was wondering if anyone could help me with an ignition switch wiring diagram of a 2017 UK 125 Primavera.

Im having an issue where I have replaced the ignition switch after a theft of the bike. Ive managed to get them in and the bike works/locks as it should however the seat unlock button works without the keys in any ideas?

welcome..
I haven't looked but maybe if you check out https://manuals.wotmeworry.org.uk/Vespa/.
What maybe better for you to know is if the wiring diagram for your Vespa is the same as for other years, if there isn't a manual for the year in question. That's where the experts on the forum may chime in...
Peace

Beware there are different internal wiring with different Piaggio ignition switches, though they may all look the same and appear to have the same pin-out. You need the seat unlock circuit to be powered from the contacts that are open circuit only in the LOCK position. It may somehow have been connected to a permanent 12V feed.

This circuit diagram may help, even though it's for the USA 150. The ignition bits are the same:

Thank you both for the links.

It seems from a few videos that the connections normally come in a single block which must have been ripped off when they attempted to hotwire it.

Yes - normally a single in-line block of four.

I've managed to sort it out today.

for anyone else that might have this issue where the block has been ripped off what worked for me was to have the two larger cables (red black + orange) in slots 1-2 and the smaller two (orange blue + green white) in slots 3-4.
