I'm down for Athens scooter riding and repayment of the souvlaki
but my budget may be lacking
I'm impressed you pulled this off!!
If you are at Rides of March, I will repay souvlaki or food of your choice though!

The best part of losing a souvlaki bet is you still get souvlaki, even if you have to pay.

More work on this stepchild Plurimatic conversion. I mounted the tail light w/ screws, installed my favorite rack and added an air filter, all three donated by poor no-papers scrapped PK50XL2.
Tail light from an older model
And with the rack installed
Tight fit in there
I had to cut off most of the plastic housing, using just the front that contains the filter element

I know someone that has a NOS engine for one of these. I could check to see if he is interested in selling it. PM me if you you have any interest.
Never mind, I didn't read this thoroughly before posting, you were swapping a shifty motor in. |

A new friend & member of the Pireaus Vespa Club came walking by and saw the Plurimatic now with a basically PK50 motor and got excited because he had a gift for me. He showed up later on his gorgeous Cosa and brought me this NOS Leo Vince racing pipe. I bet it's gonna be noisy and I think we'll soon find out!
PS I think I will call this one SNOWFLAKE in honor of Roland and his SNOWBALL and because his is legit and mine is so much flakier!
Also switched seats, I pulled the original heavy Piaggio one w/ steel frame & springs for this sexy & lighter, more comfy MotoVespa seat I got in a swap with Nuttmeg long ago

I had a small problem I finally fixed.
Quote: Carb works fine now, but why my muffler no fit? ![]() Back to cutting & welding, this time minor and me stick welding it. I'll need to seamseal and poprivet a patch over the triangular hole. No welding, cables & wires behind ![]() Good clearance all around. I taped over the hole for now. That tape ain't gonna last long, time for steel, pop rivets & ShoeGoo to seal it.
That should do a good job keeping water & mud out of the tunnel.
