It's the rare first model with the spare tire clamp. A bargain at twice the price!

I've been on the hunt for the new blue! I've found a few red in the wild, gave away spares as gifts to fellow Vespisti friends.

Yesterday, a neighbor from down the street who had I never met came walking up my driveway while I was tinkering with my scooters.

I thought, uh oh, because I often buzz by his house when trying out my scooters.

He introduced himself and handed me the exact same Vespa hot wheels. Said he had seen it and thought of me. Picked one up for himself too. I saw an opportunity to recruit another member to the Vespa cult. We'll see.

That's exactly what I suggested. I'm not selling any of mine and I don't want any more for myself, but I would love to hunt one down and fix it up for a friend. I had an old friend who once expressed interest, but that was it.

I'm always respectful of the neighbors with my scooters. Reasonable hours and no revving the snot out of them if the neighbors are having dinner on the patio. If I need to do that, there is a lot of nowhere around here to do it.

New color for 2025.
Kinda wish they'd stuck with red and blue. This looks more like a Smallstate.
