Hello Guys,
I'm new here and new to scooters in general. I bought a Vespa LX150 last week in pretty rough condition. It didn't start but there were some vacuum lines that were rotted out so I replaced them as well as the battery. It runs just fine now. Is there anything I should do in terms of service / upkeep for it? I don't know what services have been done to it before. It has 20,500 miles though.

Which is why I need some help to sort of give it a tune up? I'm not sure what to do.

Thanks!

Since you say it runs fine now, there shouldn't be a lot of "tune-up" to do. However, there are some maintenance items which have probably been neglected. You've already found the rotten vacuum lines; here are some other bits you should check:

1. Tires. If they're older than about five years old, replace them.

2. Belt. Same as the tires, if you don't know how old it is, best to replace it.

3. Inspect the brake pads and change the brake fluid.

4. Oil change, of course. That's easy and not expensive.

5. Air filter. May be old and brittle.

6. Check the valve clearances. They may be due for adjustment.

Go to the WIKI section at the top of this page, look up your model. A lot of info there.

Definitely check air filter. If brittle can break apart and get sucked into carb

Replace spark plug

Hub oil change

Check grease in front hub and where Speedo gear is
