I've got a pm tuning exhaust on my gts300 2011 , but want to go back to a standard exhaust, I've got an old standard exhaust, will it fit straight on after I've removed the PM pipe ??

Assuming the 'old standard' exhaust is within 2010-2017 model years and for the GTS300, you should only need the original fasteners, the OEM manifold clamp (if the PM used it's own) and a new graphite exhaust gasket.

I say this while sitting in the USA. So, I'm not sure how this plays into all that EURO 4 EURO 5 bidness.

Welcome to MV by the way.

Cheers yeah it's off a 2016 model, I'm going to Spain in June on it , and I've heard the police don't like aftermarket pipes over there, so going back to standard, it the pick up doesn't feel right and heard pm pipes do that , but the top end speed is bang on

Here is a diagram from one of the large US parts dealers. It does not show all the fasteners, but gives you an idea of how everything comes together, and part numbers if you need to order anything.

I don't think the std exhaust will work if you plan on keeping the PM Tuning looped header.

You might have difficulty with mounting the exhaust on the swingarm as the mating point of the std exhaust to the std manifold is quite different.

Spain is where most of the "good" aftermarket pipes are coming out of now that Italy has tightened up and France goes after the installer and not just the owner. Tecnigas, Turbokit and Yasuni come readily to mind. See if you can find one of their stickers.
If you took the DB killer out, can you put it back in?
