Hello, anyone can help me find out why the problem with my Vespa 300 GTV dies when off the center stand? Sometimes, when I am off the stand and I am not seated, it starts. As soon I sit again, it dies again. The Problem is intermittent

I have done the following and the problem persists

1- I checked the tire pressure. OK
2- I recalibrate de EFI. OK
3- I shut down the EFI. OK
4-I replaced the Start Relay Switch. OK
5- I replaced the Spark Plug HT Wire. OK
6- I checked for a loose wire connection. I did not find any.

Any other suggestion.

Thanks in advance

When put back in the stand, It starts and runs perfectly. When I take it off the stand it dies again. While on the ground I stand up the seat, I can restart it again and when I sit, it dies again.

Could be a couple of things:

1. Short to ground on a wire that is pinched somewhere. Closely inspect wiring.

2. Spark plug wire stretching. Is is it screwed tightly in the spark plug cap? does the wire seem tight? I know you said you replaced it but does seem tight?

Also consider a cracked injector, or dodgy injector wiring.

It could be a wire that is shorting out around the swing arm when you put down the bike the wire might make contact with it

Update.

I believe I found the issue simultaneously with Jim`s comment.

It was the injector wiring. It was barely connected to the injector. Sometime it was working and sometimes it doesn´t

I ordered a new one. Hopefully it will solve the problem

Thanks for your help. I´ll keep you posted of the final result

Good to hear. Why couldn't you just firmly seat the injector plug? What did you order new? Pic of the issue?

The connector plug that feed the injector was partially broke it. When i removed the injector it totally detached,.(see pictures of the injector broke and another picture of how it should look like)

It was hard to see it, because the wire was above the connector plug

I ordered a compatible from Amazon (cheap one) while the original arrives.

thanks.

Thanks. Now the question is why did it break? I would guess from rear shocks not set high enough and hit a good bump and hits the pet carrier.

What are your shocks set at?

This is a good observation about the rear shock. I replaced the original schocks with a bitubo.
I will have to check the setting of shock absorber. I don't know the actual setting
