No, not really similar climate apart from lots of sunny days. You are even in a different time zone
No, seriously, you are way further south and out in the ocean; subtropical sea climate. Generally quite mild.
I am at 700 meters altitude on the north side of the southern mountain range, i.e. a dryish mediterranean land climate.
It is surprisingly harsh out here. In general 20 C. difference between day/night with winter mornings 10 below nothing exceptional and ditto over 40 summer.
P.e.1 about per end of Oktober most have the heating on at léast evenings; the whole village smells of olive wood smoke from the chimneys.
P.e.2 we must count with frosted car windscreens 3 months of the year. Expect you need not do much of that
