Good evening.

A couple of years ago, I came up with the brilliant idea of tearing my Vespa down, to sandblast the chassis, and give it a new paint job. It seemed as a good idea at the time, but now that I am reassembling it, it is dawning on me that it would also have been a good idea to take a few pictures before I tore everything out..

I am trying to mount the engine swing arm/frame, and it seemingly looks right, but the way that I have mounted it, it will not allow the thing to swing and move as I would have thought. Does this look right, or am I missing something?

I will greatly appreciate all the help that I can get Facepalm emoticon

Did you check an exploded parts diagram? For example here: https://www.af1racing.com/GT200-OEM-Parts-Diagrams

If that doesn't work out, I can take photos of my LX or GT200 that I assume will be similar to yours.

Don't forget to put the 2 white plastic washers
In-between the frame and the mount you can use grease to hold them in place .

Thanks for the replys That parts diagrams did not help with my particular problem. If you could take some pictures of your 200 GT, that would be great!

Are you thinking of these plastic washers?

Thank you, Sir! It looks like it is mounted the same way that I have mounted it. But what I donĀ“t understand is that when the bracket that holds the silent block is bolted to the chassis in three points, this will prevent the pivoting parts of the swing arm from moving, will it not? I am struggling to coming to terms with the fact that the pivoting parts are equipped with bearings, which suggests that they will be actively moving, and the way it is mounted seem to prohibit movement :/

It does pivot and has flexibility through the silent block.
