First, we have a Soviet era, Russian, Red Army infantry helmet. It was cheap, and kind of interesting.

Followed by my Reproduction British army tropical Pith helmet.

And then, of course, being a converted South Dakotan, there's this fine-ass western hat, purchased at none other than the 'World Famous' Wall Drug Western Wear store.

Fourth on this list of things to 'Never Wear This Headgear While Riding a Motorbike Of Any Kind, At Any Speed, Headgear' is the crown jewel of the group, my recently acquired M-1938 US Army tanker helmet. I must admit that Brad Pitt looked a lot cooler wearing one of these in the film 'Fury' than I do.

This tenuously qualifies as [SSR], which is "Sort-of Scooter Related". Title has been changed accordingly.

I figured it was a 'grey area' for the topic description...at best, thus the question mark.

I'll try to not wear out the NSR and SSR tag with too many admittedly stupid posts, but they do provide a handy outlet for my brand of nonsense (read: Buffoonery).

I love that term...'Buffoon'...'Buffoonery'.

Almost as much as I like the term: 'Poltroon', which I never really get a decent opportunity to actually use.

I don't see why not, seems like a worthwhile enough segue to me, and opens up another level of conversational buffoonery.

One of my other 'Not Safe For Prime Time' brainless buckets is this really nice but God-help-you-if-you-crash-in-it 'halfie' (It's also used in my avatar).

I actually wore this half-lid on two occasions, but I know it's a special kind of Russian Roulette to do so.

Good 'ol Anti Monkey Butt Powder. This stuff works! I've done 700+ mile days on a rigid frame chopper because of this product. 😂
