If you use a scented garbage bag it will be like an air freshener. Not sure if they make little tree scent, but they should.

I had a spare one lying about, and I thought I would fit it to my new 2023 GTS300. But there was no hole under the nose of the saddle for it, so I cut a round hole there. I then discovered that that area under the nose was all solid polystyrene, no place to shove anything. I sealed up the hole I had cut and put the cover back in my shed.
I just about never used the ones on my previous GTSs anyway. |

You can still order a Cool Ass cover from Scooterworks. Cool Ass closed their doors and sold all the remaining stock to Scooterworks. So if you want a seat cover for keeping the sun or rain of you scoot seat when parked I recommend them. If you want a full time cover than Cheeky Seats is the way to go.
Trash bag seat covers are for ghetto bikes!

Maybe if I lived in AZ I may get one to keep the seat cool. The seat on my Vespa is covered in manmade leather I think, doubt the weather has affected it much in the last 6 yrs ... |

My wife had a Honda SIlverwing with a Corbin seat, some fancy leather custom thing with a PITA to remove backrest. If it rained it would get soaked and give her soggy bottom on her 65 mile commute home. Only thing we could find to fit it was a Hefty heavy duty yard waste bag. Now, this bag kept the seat dry but, when you removed the bag all the puddle spots would get you wet, it was a PITA to store and it made the seat super hot in the summer. I hated that stupid seat so bad, plus I don't really care for Corbin seats in general. Remind me of Brooks saddles for a bicycle. Ouch!
In the 'hood people use plastic shopping bags to cover their ratty bicycle seats. They keep the plastic bag on the seat full time. I'm a bit more classy. I use a printed shower cap over my bicycle seat. |

with my old gts it had a cover but for rain it sucked as taking it off and stuffing back under the seat would mean water all over whatever was stored there. preferred to do a quick swipe of the water off the seat with my glove.

Just go on Amazon.com and search scooter seat covers. Many avialble priced $9.99 t0 $14.99.
Nothing worse than riding with a wet behind. The only thing I have to do is put my "Airhawk" seat cushion under the seat if left out at night in the rain. It does get soaked and absorbs. Hey, a price point for everyhone - trash bag to nice rain cover. Bob Copeland Minnesota |
