Dear friends, we have two new 2024 GTS with "keyless" ignition.
Turning the rotary switch to the on position is very sticky/tricky/frustrating. Can anyone provide some advice, please, about how to manipulate this easily?

With the key fob in my pocket when attempting to turn the switch clockwise to right the rotary simply refuses to move Repeating the procedure two or three times tends to work allowing to inutile starting via the starter button on right handlebar

I also battle with this stupid switch. I usually press it once before turning it, but sometimes I have to turn it slightly to the left before it will work.

You have to push the round knob in once before turning it to "on"
After pressing it in, it should turn easily. Like my 2023 does. Bill |

If the knob is in the off position, the knob has to be pressed "in" first, then turned to the right to the run position. Then press the start push button on the right handlebar. If the knob is in the locked position( all the way to the left- handle bars locked to the left), then it still needs to be pressed "in", then turned to off position then continue to the run position. Of course all this requires the FOB to be within 2-3 ft from the scooter glovebox area. And this with a known good battery in the fob. As the last poster said get or download the owners manual. Also u-tube vidios from Scooterwest and Robot ( a tech that works there) explains it all.

It sounds so simple, just press in and then turn. But it doesn't always work for me, and after about three tries I turn the knob slightly to the left and then it usually works.
