Hi I'm having problems with my lml with a p200e engine cutting out. I only got it on the road last week. It cut out on the way to getting the mot done. I had the carb off and gave it all a good clean and change the spark plug and been out a couple off times since then yesterday It was ok for 20 minsters then it just cut out. I got it started straight away then it cut out again so I clean the jets and started it no problem then but went again a short time after when I hit a pot hole. I got it started again no problem and made my way home what took me 20 minutes with no problem. I've checked the wires going to the cdi and ht lead and all seems ok.

I'll bet it's a ground failure. And possibly agitated by vibrations. My scoot did that same thing... ran for 10-15 minutes, then stalled and wouldn't come back alive until the whole thing cooled down.

I never did have the aha moment, so I can't say for sure, but one day, the CDI mount broke. I made a new one out of a piece of angle aluminum, it's been fine ever since.

YMMV
