Modern Vespa

So I been using my Vespa the last few days and I notice a strong smell of gas when it's sitting in the garage. I don't see any leaks on the floor she runs very well too. Anyone know what it can be.

Have you removed the Evap Crap? If so you will definitely get a smell of gas as the bike cools. Even if not, every time it 'Moos' like a cow it is venting a bit.

Where will the evap cap be? 2023 gts sport

Pull your air filter cover and see if it is pooling in there. Do you fill to the brim at the station?

That's the evaporative emissions control system mandated these days.

In the parts manual:

No i have less then 1/2 a tank in it

You never noticed that gas smell before?

Had the same issue - I had to really tighten the gas cap, smell went away. I could even smell it sometimes while riding.

Not like this. We even smelled it in our house.

Forgot to mention - I put a bit of WD-40 on the gasket and threads, which made it easier to tighten properly.

First saw this thread on 4/20. Wondered if it was about a new way of getting high.

One part disappointed, one part happy to see people figuring out this problem. Nice.
