I am trying to take of my exhaust on my LX50 2006 and the two bolts which hold the panel under the exhaust has came off but the panel is stuck and doesn't want to come through? How can I fix this?

A screw driver to lever the retaining plate down, or just push on the front of the exhaust and it should drop down.

Can you gently tap it back on a bit and see if it frees up.

Have you removed the bolts holding the other end?

My Yamaha Zuma 125 is the same way. The exhaust is difficult to remove at the engine end. It takes some wiggling of the exhaust pipe, then suddenly it comes free when it's in the secret magical alignment. It takes patience more than muscle. Good luck!

I checked for the bolts but there was none, managed to get it off with a little bit of grease and some power with the screwdriver. Thank you!
