Modern Vespa

Hello…I've been very fortunate to to buy Klabordes old MP3 after a few attempts off various sites. The good news is the price kept getting better…the bad news is it moved further away. I've had it now for a month but been very busy and only have 3 rides on it and I've got new rubber all the way around, anew belt and new 21g sliders ready for install.

I really like the beast…but the riding position not so much. Seems like Piaggio missed the mark not having the "two position" floorboards found on many scooters. I'm only about 5'9" and I still find the leg positioning on the cramped side.

I think I've read every thread on the topic and I'm interested in either the most recent of the old UFP brackets or a set of OAD's bigger floorboard brackets to mount some forward mini floorboards on. Does anyone have a set of either they can part with?

Did you ever find the MP3 500 floor board brackets? I bought a MP3 500 2022 and the ride without foot pegs is definitely not the same. If anyone knows where I can get my hands on a pairit would be greatly appreciated.

neither style is made anymore. every now and then you can find a set on eBay of market place.

I cannot find the foot pegs anywhere to purchase. Next step is to make my own. I know we have some very talented and technical riders here so could someone share the design specifications to have my own foot pegs for the MP3 500 2022 made.

relook at the posts as someone had some made and is willing to have more made.
