Hi guys, still riding my Piaggio Zip 50 for now and really enjoying the size of it.

I'm looking to get a 125cc at some stage, and after looking at the various manufacturers I keep coming back to the Piaggio Vespa. It just looks the nicest I think!

I hear they come in different frame sizes but can anyone give me more info please?

I'm looking to get the smallest frame possible for a 125cc. I'm talking about physical dimensions (wheel base/height/overall length etc). Would this be the Primavera?

Cheers for any info

Hello mate, I believe the Vespa Sprint and the Vespa Primavera, both of which are of the small framed variety have the same dimensions and weight. If not there is hardly anything in it between them.

The Primavera has a more traditional look and the Sprint goes for a more sporty
styling.

Sprint and Primavera differ only in the height on the middle of the handlebar (round vs. square headlight). The difference is 20mm/2cm, the Sprint is higher (without mirrors), with mirrors they are the same height.

Look at the Primavera and Sprint here

https://www.vespa.com/gb_EN/

Both are small frames. There is a GTS 125 but that is a large frame. Quickest way to tell is look for the louvers on the sides below the handlebars. This normally denotes water cooling and larger frames.

I was looking at a Sprint at my local dealers just yesterday, they look brilliant , very stylish and sporty looking.

If you are after classic Vespa lines then look no further than the Primavera.

Excellent info thanks very much. Had a sit in a Primevera today. Although it was only the 50cc the salesman assured me the 125cc would be the same dimensions. Nice looking bike!

Since the 1 st June 1973. Only exceptions that I'm aware of are Sikh's where there is a defined conflict with their religious headwear.

Certain classic bikers wear " corker" type hats as discussed on here on another thread, for shows and parades. But otherwise, adoption of " lids" is 100%.

Riders of MP3 LT's are exempt from wearing helmets - they count as trikes with the wider front wheel spacing - but they'd be mad not to!

Isn't the faster electric Vespa as fast as the 125?

43 mph vs 68 mph? I don't think so!
