Hello, I have a 2013 BV 350 suffering from a random cut out (shutting off) from time to time.

The problem is that while the scooter is in motion, it's suddenly cutting out, without sputtering or any other symptoms, and when I come to a halt, I turn off and on the ignition and it starts just fine. It idles OK, and this problem has not occurred while standing still yet.

The spark plug is new (1500-1600 miles), I've changed the cable and the cap. I've temporarily bypassed the side stand and the kill switch so it's not from them either. The air filter is clean. The batter is charging at 14.4-5 on the display.

I've read the other topics about similar problems, and I've tried all the solutions above but nothing has fixed it. Any other suggestions will be great.

Also change the ignition switch - they do go faulty, and are cheap enough to always have a spare.

Hm, I've never the about the ignition switch, but I may try it. I don't think it looses ignition when the problem occurs, but who knows….
About the software update - I don't have dealers in my area, but I think it's worth a try..

One more thing - yesterday I've noticed on the voltmeter on the dash that sometimes it goes all the way up to 14.8-14.9 volts, could it be a shutdown when it overcharges to prevent damage?

Check your rectifier. Watch some YouTube videos about it. Should be two bolts and a plug. Go to the nearest auto parts store and use their multi-meter.
Been there done that.

I've checked it today, it does not go over 15 volts, as per spec in the manual…

Today it was raining, and it stalled a number of times, including on idle, yesterday was raining too… I'm wondering if water gets it's way to the electronics.

I'll wait the rain to stop and test it again.

Since when do you have the scooter?

After about 4,000 miles my 2014 BV was stalling at every stop light. Had the software updated and problem solved. The plug cap was an on going issue. Sold it with 46,000 miles on it.
