Deal locked in, insurance in place. Anything special I should look out for before taking her home? Thanks!

Have had mine since 2017. Enjoy! It's a great bike! We'll need a photo! O.S. ⚠️ Last edited by OldSchooot on UTC; edited 1 time

Great advice. Thanks! My last scooter was when I was 15 in the early 90s - it was a Honda Elite 80. It's been too long

Seat's a little hard but gets better.
The front brake is very good. Refueling is a PITA with gas station pumps. You have to trickle the fuel in or it will bubble out. Pack some paper towels around the fuel neck to catch spills. Some people take the green insert out of the refueling neck. Wear as much protective gear as you can stand. Read the Owner's Manual. If you haven't been riding in a while, take a course to refresh your reflexes. Congratulations. Enjoy your scooter! |

Like the white! Very classy! Congrats on the new scooter. I still miss my Liberty sometimes. The things are little tanks. Oil change is pretty easy, air filter will make you say bad words but it can be done at home as well. Valve check is pretty easy as well. Basically, everything that needs to be done can be done by the owner.
You'll get a feel for how much fuel to put in based on how many bars are left. I rode mine year round and got the filling the tank down to a science. I left the green insert in. AF1 Racing sells the service manual on a thumb drive. |

FWIW, there's a 2002 version of the manual at jimc's site:
https://manuals.wotmeworry.org.uk/ It's under Piaggio - LT150. I'm not sure where these files come from, and I don't want to know. But a newer version for the Liberty would be helpful if one surfaces. These files (repair/shop manuals and parts diagrams) are hideously useful in demystifying the machines, well beyond the barebones "user's manual," whether you're repairing something or disassembling a bit of it for maintenance or to add a doodad. |
