Anybody experiencing a weird & erratic problem w the turning signal switch on these? I can slide the switch and the turning signal will either blink once or twice then just stop or not come on at all. Happens both directions, but more often when taking a left. I can switch it to the opposite position, then back & it'll usually come back on & stay on. Sometimes it will come back on w/o doing anything to after 5-10 seconds. Does this sound like a contact problem in the switch or a relay? Thanks for any input.

In the German forum there have been reports of defective left-hand switch units on some Vespa GTS MY23 facelifts (right/left indicators cannot be activated, middle button must be pressed very hard to deactivate). The solution for all of them was to replace the entire left-hand switch unit under warranty.

Possibly you can spray some electrical contact cleaner into the switch (key off) and see if that helps. Actually, a replacement switch or relay should be replaceable under warranty.

Thanks for the info! I'll contact dealer about it. Although, I'm slightly reluctant to let them mess with it any more than the prep when I purchased it. Their focus is Ducatis & KTM's, Vespa's seem to be an afterthought.
