Hello fellow vespa owners , i m new to this forum and i'm from the Netherlands so please be kind on my english
I have a question. I got the tilt lock mechanism removed from the scoot for some benchtesting of the electric motor on the back. As i read in the forums I turned the little screw on the motor to loosen the tilt lock without succes, en got the potentiometer off as well , can someone please show me how you put the pot meter back on the motor so its in the 12 degree position?.
Everytime i put 12v on the red/green connector the motor spins to its limit and i have to turn the screw each time for loosen it or else it won t move.
i know about the 1v & 4v values and the rougly 80 revilations for a full cycle but is there a way to do this without taking of all plastics that lead to the pcc?
some pictures would help hence the language barrier.
thanx in advance
Rich

12 degr is the settingor turn it full on then 1.5 back then press 2x release and it should be good

But if you put an external powersource on it, it will turn to far and it needs to be aligned again, on the sprockets there are points so take of the electric motor off open the casing thats a cover off job and also take out the hydrolic piston so you don't have to bleed the system cable needs to have slack and the piston need to be in the halfway position

Take out the halfmoon sprocket and the little one clean them look for the dots/point re assemble and grease them well and close the casing and put the whole thing back

hello Maksor, thank you very much for the advice.I see your username pop up in a lot of topics here on mv so your knoweledge about these bike must be great.
I also noticed you are from the netherlands just like me ,so can i pm you a message in dutch if that s not a problem?

for now i did put external power on the motor to see if it turns as well as attached to the case. How can this cogwheel jump a nodge so the dots won't allign up anymore? I mean it s looks like a solid tight fit. I will test first what you told me and then i open the case. the situtaion is now that the lever moves in conjunction with the cylinder for 3 or 4 times fine and then suddenly it won't move because it s on its limit of the cylcle.like its rewinding ont its own tension of the spring. i'm lost here Facepalm emoticon
