Was in Melbourne about a year ago. Loved it!
Welcome to MV. I think you're gonna like it here. Great folks, terrific info on your scoot -- or darn near ANY scoot, for that matter! -- plus a few cantankerous personalities! And wbdvt wasn't just yanking yer gams...we love to see pics of folks' scoots and learn about mods, etc. Here...I'll kick things off for you... Anita O'Day is my 2024 300 GTS "Classico." I think she looks like the inside of a 3 Musketeers candy bar. Lily -- named for The Who song "Pictures of..." -- is my 2001 ET2 50cc. I sold her 7 years ago to a clown who pretty much abused her. When I got Anita into my garage, I promptly got on the phone and bought Lily back. A "scooter rescue," if you will. She's currently with her mechanic and will be home soon. And there you have it! ![]() ![]() |

Welcome rome 304. Always good to hear from the "Land Down Under".
DVH1150, color of the inside of a Musketeer Bar - good call. Crap, now I am going to have to go get a Musketeer Bar. Again welcome rome 304. Bob Copeland Lake Wobegon Minnesota "Where all the women are strong, all the men are good looking, and all the children are above average" Garrison Keillor |

I'm pretty sure Anita the Scoot will have a pretty easy life. But I'm also pretty sure I'll never hear her sing "Stompin' At The Savoy" like her namesake. Dang...I'm gonna miss that flatted note! Thanks for your post. Victor |

WRTI (Temple U in Philly) streams a "voices in Jazz" program with Bob Craig every Sunday afternoon at 5PM EST. He plays the best and she's frequently one of them. Big Band show at 6! Thanks for pointing out that flat note. I hear it as the Major 7th.
