Hello all- 2014 Typhoon 4t4v

Hope some of you might be able to help me. Just upgraded to malossi 80cc, now it won't run right. If I try revving the throttle, it would bogged then died if held on to it. Let it go it come back idling. But if I throttle it slowly, it'll get to like 60% then bogged. Check for leak with carb cleaner, no leak.

Have tries the following but get same result
idle 35 35 35 42 42
main 75 88 88 88 88
needle mid mid top mid top
mixture screw is at -2 or -2.5 depend on idle size.

I am ready to tap out, any suggestion is appreciates!

If the variator isn't moving smoothly, it is possible for the CVT to be stuck in permanent "high gear" and for the engine to bog down as a result, even though it's otherwise configured perfectly. Another thing to check: is the exhaust clear? A clog of carbon will also cause the engine to bog.

Exhaust is new, plus new variator and clutch. Maybe I should remove the belt for tuning the carb?

Not sure where any online advice can start when jets, needle, mixture, BBK, exhaust, variator, and clutch have all been changed.

Way over jetted, and you don't know how to adjust the air/fuel screw. Also, check the cam timing. It's easy to be one tooth off and get the same results.

Motovista-

You are right, I do not know how to adjust carb or confirms that my mixture is spot on, very new to carb adjustment. Well, I am tapping out, having a motorcycle mechanic coming next week to sort this out. I did check my timing again and it's tdc on the piston and chain. I just hope I am not reading it wrong and it is off by 1 tooth like you said. I guess that few benjamin is the price for learning. And if it's over jetted, I'll be damn. Stock 50cc is 35 idle and 75 main, what I got in there right now is 35idle and 88main. 75 main was bogging too though. Ben

Well after $280 tips for the mechanic, it's running as it should now. Damn guy dont want to tell me exactly how it was fixed. He mentioned that the float was not fully sealed something along those line. Because before, I though fuel was coming out of my intake because of a bad petcock, so I ignore it and just use manual shutoff.

I overlooked = $280.

So it was running too rich all these time because of the float bowl.
