Hey all, I don't know where to post this. Maybe a Mod will make a better choice, but.. there is a product that 'welds' plastic and fiberglass cracks and even broken pieces.
It's called Plastex.
https://www.plastex.net/
It works!
Don't throw away that part because it's broken!
I used it on Fiberglas parts on my Ducati and now on the plastic side skirts on my recent GTS.
Just wanted to share that.

Ok.. never mind.
While Plastex works, I just saw this: Broken plastic tab

Baking soda and cyanoacrylate.. superglue.
Thanks to whomever posted that.

For regular plastics I swear by Würth Replast. Or the cheaper copy they sell in the near auto parts store.
There is also the good old soldering iron and bits ofstainless stainless wire.
Fiberglass is more difficult because it doesn't melt.

yeah...a lot of good techniques. OK..I'm always learning. Thanks.
Now I need to create a reverse mold to repair these broken tabs on the side-skirts.
