We had this as a salvage job and have no idea of it's value.

We have had it running and it just needs a log book to be applied for and it will be all legal ready for the road.

If the community would mind helping with a rough value and advise where might be best to sell it, we'd greatly appreciate your responses.

Thanks in advance!

Are you sure it's a 200? Looks like a 125 that somebody put stickers and chrome on.

If nobody pipes up, look on Facebook/online marketplace for the going rate for a non running Vespa. Don't expect top price as you're missing paperwork and that would need a full service/ possible rebuild and key swap to get going.

Thanks for the reply. I did put the reg into a vehicle search and got this

Model Variant PX 200 E
Primary Colour White
Fuel Type Petrol
Engine 198 cc
Year Manufacture 2003

We have a logbook on the way, so that won't be a problem

Nice! What are 200s going for in Bristol on Facebook? Start a little lower than that for a quick sale.

It's higher milage (km? Still higher) and a little tatty. Is a special model and near the last of the euro 200 range. If under the floor mat is not awful, £2k max.

There was a Fred Perry Limited Edition LXV, so someone thinks putting his name and the wreath on the bike adds value. I'm not sure that is something you are going to see reflected in the values put forth here, especially from the US members, who have no idea who he was. Is this something that would appeal to people who collect all things Fred Perry, and would it have added value because of that? I have no idea, but that's worth a few minutes on the internet trying to figure out. 1955 T-Birds are worth a lot. The one owned by Marilyn Monroe is worth more.

It's a Serie Speciale 200cc with a few Fred Perry sticker and, weirdly, a LCBG sticker added to bring the value down
Aftermarket seat, aftermarket exhausr and rusty chrome bits also detract from the value imho
It that condition £2k probably - although I'd be asking why it's a salvage job? Stolen/recovered? If the numberplate is on it why have plod not contacted the last known owner?

Thank you for all your responses.

I think a quick sale price of £1500 would be reasonable then.

Value is less with those stickers. Remove the stickers and clean it up a bit and you can probably sell for higher.

I would love to have one of those know of one here in California the owner bought it new in the UK dismantled and shipped it home. It's a numbered special with placard but without the Fred Perry stuff.
