Consider the dimensions...
Maximum Length 1800mm Maximum Width 710mm Maximum Height 1030mm You could knock about 3" off the height by removing the wheels. Past that, grab a tape and start measuring. |

Years ago i bought a Stella off of Copart auction. I drove over the the lot to pick it up. I saw a couple husky looking eastern europeans (ok, they were most likely russians) in the parking lot walking around. I asked them for help, and the both of them picked up the scooter and put it into the back of my dad's Prius. I'm not new to loading vintage scooters into small cars, so i came prepared. Sockets, funnel, #1 (or maybe it's a #2) phillips screwdriver, and a 1 gallon gas can was all i needed. I removed the Stella's fuel tank, poured the gas (using the funnel) into the gas can. I then poured all the gas into the prius fuel tank. I then plunge the phillips screwdriver into the end of the oil reservoir's oil line. Point being, a lammy should fit in a prius, even with the tires still mounted.

you can stuff a 63 Gilera 125SS cafe racer into the back seat of an 80 Buick Skylark if you are willing to rip the back seat out and rope the doors shut because they won't latch with a motorcycle jammed between them.
I know this isn't the same but I guess it proves anything is worth trying if you don't mind risking an unsafe load ticket. |

Looks like it's about 2 inches longer than a s50 which I've crammed into a prius. Should be ok but well see tom

Not a lammy, but I do know a complete Rally 180 will fit in a Mazda 3!
![]() Maybe a bit disassembled, but it did fit! Fit a smallframe that ran outta gas into the truck of an 80's Thunderbird once.... Stuffing scooters into unconventional transport options is entertaining to say the least

The answer is yes. With the front wheel off and both seats pushed all the way up. If I took off the rear as well, I might have been able to get more play on the drivers side

So Prius gets bigger as it gets newer... VW Golf not so much, wife's '15 can't carry big stuff but my old '92 mk3 Golf is like a small truck. One time with passenger & back seats removed, we got TWO complete small frames(one partially disassembled) and two ppl completely inside for a two hour road trip.
![]() Today just one completely assembled & ready to ride in there, but that's with all the seats installed w/ just back seats folded down
![]() and the car was crammed to the roof w/ other random stuff too

Well done. When I bought my Vespas, I didn't think a P series would fit into my Subaru Forester. It probably would have. Good thing I took my bus. Fit 2 just by taking the mirrors off.

I keep waiting on SaFis to enter the thread. He's got some outstanding scooter tetris pictures.

This whole thread reminds me of the "How do you fit an elephant in a Mini?" joke.
Nicely done, BTW. |

Great that you managed to fit it in!
Got a Faro Basso in a VW Passat once, was an easy fit. Once put a small frame (not disassembled) in the back of a Ford Focus, that was a challenge... unfortunately only have pics of the Passat ![]() |

I love a good cram shot.
For clarification Mine is a 2014 Prius C. I put a Lambretta in the back of a Honda Fit a while back so I knew it'd be possible, a 74 super and an s150 into the back of this Prius, but even after all of that, I never thought of actually removing the passenger seat before. This will be the last one for a long time. |

Six screws to remove the windscreen fairing, then remove the front wheel and slide the forks out of the triple tree. It takes me about 6~7 minutes to do. There's still enough room to fit a 12v freezer in the back, for those times you go in a road trip with broken foot to buy more motos, yet you still need ice packs on the foot to keep the swelling down. I'm not saying i'm the king of cram, but i think i rank high up on the list. ![]() ![]() ![]()
