Hey all,

I'm finally at a paint stage for my 1985 T5 restoration.
Question is: what colour to choose?!?!

I already have two red scoots so restoring this T5 back to its original red is a bit of a mute point for me and looking for another colour.

information on the internet is minimal in respect to T5 colours:

Red
white
charcoal grey

Does anyone here know of any additional colour pallets that these bikes had? I would like to stay true to the colours that this model came in.

Any information is greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

Did they not do an aquamarine colour as well around that time?

I'm doing an 1986 in anthracite at the moment

I think I'm leaning towards the anthracite as well.

That "anthracite" looks like the regular gray to me...

Here are 3 of the 4 basic colors available in 1985 (there was also white).

The anthracite came out later (last 2 pics). They had at least 3 more colors for the UK market (seen in showrooms around 1992): metallic red, green and blue.

It's the correct paint code for anthracite grey. Maybe just a bad picture
