Hi guys I sellotaped my learner plate to the front of my Liberty as the sticky back had got wet and worn . It's left a weird mark on the plastic front cover it's not the worst but you can see it in certain angles when the light catches it. Does anyone know of anything that would remove it? The sticky residue is gone but just the mark.Cheers

How long was it taped on? If over many months then the Sellotape glue may have buggered up the clear coat and paint. If the other suggestions don't work, try some T-Cut.

I know this is in the UK, but is it possible that there is fading (e.g. from UV) on the surrounding bits, making the part that was taped stand out?

The tape was only on for a couple of hours max while I took my mod 2 . I got home and removed it but it was bitty coming off. I got off the residue so there is no sticky surface left only this odd sheen where the sellotape was.
