Hello,

I own a GTS 250 IE with approximately 60,000 km.
I have been with him for about 8000 km.

Since I have it, I can travel 120-130 km with 1 tank of gasoline.
Fuel light comes on at 100km.

I know this is not normal so I had the valves and engine checked.

Circulation and oil pump have been completely renewed.

Which part do you think I should be suspicious of?

Gas pump?
ECU?

Many thanks!

Or even - litres?
We need to know the volume of fuel per fill-up, as well as the distance travelled.

I believe the tank capacity is 9.2 liters. The low fuel warning light is a bit premature.

Seems like it is running well and everything is ok except the range/liter.
Has done it since purchasing new.
Sounds like the previous owner has added performance mods.
Clutch/variator not stock and/or some other performance upgrade(s).

He may just be filling the tank shortly after the light comes on, thinking it is nearly empty.

^^^^
This. I'm lucky to get 1.6 US GAL in when the light comes on - that's ~6.3 litres.

That's a 'reserve' of nearly 3l, not the 2l the manual says...

I suggest recording the exact amount of fuel used and the exact distance travelled, over the course of three or more fill-ups. That way you can get a more accurate measure of fuel consumption which you can compare to consumption after you've made a change.

I don't know the rules in Turkey, but in some places the date of a vehicle is from when it's first registered, not the 'model year'. So this could have been hanging around in a dealership for three or four years.

A quick look at the 250 models in the selector on SIP's website shows through to 2014. (Including a viet made vin prefix for some)
