Modern Vespa

Not having a Vespa at present the nearest thing I have to it is a Aprilia Habana 125cc from 2001 which from appearance has a pre leader motor, but correct me if I am wrong.
Weekend was very unusual and we had the sky filled with a yellow orb and blueness here in Ceredigion instead of greyness and rain. So after being press ganged into mowing the green stuff I went for a spin and got a MOT at local garage and off into the hills.
Stopping nearer home at mate's for coffee and a chat.

Thanks - great photos. That last house looks like a real "Fixer-Upper". Kind of reminds me of a Deer Hunting Shack in the backwoods of Minnesota.

I'm originally from Bolton lancashire now living in Southern California I spent countless weekends in Wales on vacation with the family it's one of the most beautiful places in the world and I miss being there Tenby was a favorite of mine did a shifty scooter run with friends on vespa,s and Lambretta I drove my van as support because the two strokes were prone to breaking down ended up with three dead bikes in the back of the van what a experience.

That one has to be knocked down when he has finished building this one near it.
He cuts the timber, machines and carves it all himself and the structure is made of Hempcrete. Water from a spring and sewage is done via a reed bed however it works, did explain how it works but I forget but the end result clean water filters out. Council gave him planning permission but that's why the old one needs removing after.
Just up the road another couple got one built around a tree so technically it's 2 foot off the ground and planning permission is not needed for a tree house.

It happens to be the Tenby Scooter Rally this weekend but I just got back from London which I never want to drive through again after being use to the occasional car, tractors, sheep and cow's for all these year's in Ceredigion. And to think I use to do courier work on motorbike in the 70's dashing about all over London and enjoyed it 😯.
For tomorrow I have been commandeered to put flat pack furniture together so I will miss the rally tomorrow, maybe courier work wasn't so bad compared to putting together Ikea stuff. 😊
