I have been trying to get my Vespa LX50 2006 to start for nearly a month now and nothing has managed to work.
It all started to when I changed the alternator as the battery wasn't being charged and kept on dying. After I changed the alternator I wanted to test it to see if it was giving more volts after I tried to start it it wasn't starting at all. I mean it tried to tick over but it can't. I then checked if I had any spark which I didn't at all which I thought it would be a faulty spark plug as it was a couple of years old. I then got a brand new one to see if it would spark but there was also no spark too. I then bought a new CDI coil to see if it was that because it may not be sparking the plug. I changed it today and its still trying to tick over without any spark in the spark plug.

Someone please help! It would be much appreciated.

This is the 2t 50, right? Have you checked the pickup coil, and its connection to the CDI? Compare it with the old stator...
