Do you follow this maintenance schedule

First PMS is 1000km or 1 month, change oil.
at 5,000km or every 5 months, inspect only
at 10,000 or every 10 months, change oil, drive belts etc.

You can see the manual here

Nope!

There is obviously an error in this edition of the workshop manual.
In all other versions known to me, it says "km" or "miles" at this point (whereby the miles are given in brackets).
In addition, there are two columns for the time interval of 12 or 24 months.

Correct is 1000km, 5000km, 10000km, 15000km or every 12 months, whichever comes first. Also change the brake fluid every 24 months.

Please tell us the year of manufacture of your Vespa, then we will post the correct information with source.

The version you have linked applies to a PV 150 from 2016 and, as stated above, is incorrect.

This is what I use for my 2022 Primavera 150. I think all Primavera/Sprint 150 from 2014-present would follow the same.

Am I looking at this schedule, right?
Replacing the drive belt on the Primavera 150 every 10K miles?
I would think any quality belt should give a better service life.

Actually that's 10K km, or about 6,200 miles. Yes, that's a short interval, but it's pretty typical for scooters I think. You may decide to stretch it; it's up to you if it's worth the risk of a breakdown. Much discussion on this forum of belt replacement intervals, and OEM vs. other brands.

Thanks for the feedback. I know this is an older discussion.
I guess most service schedules are that way. I've always tried to follow the manufacturer's suggested schedules. Their engineers and experience are much better than my opinions.
And you're right. Roadside repairs are more trouble and expense than preventative maintenance done at home or in the shop.
