1999 T5 Classic. I recently replaced the clutch side oil seal and replaced gaskets etc. put the engine back in the scooter. Starts second kick using choke, once you put choke in the engine starts revving its nuts off. Air leak?

Could be a stuck throttle cable but air leak from the crankcase is more like the usual luck.

If not the stuck cable...
Check all the easy access gaskets.

Airbox
Carb
Cylinder base
Cylinder head

Reseal with hylomar or equivalent and re-torque everything to spec.
Cross fingers!
