I haven't done that ride but I'm going to be in Telluride for work in early June and was thinking it might be a good place to go riding. Now I'm really going to try to cook up a way to ride there for the project.

I've driven up 550 through Ouray in our '84 Westy - beautiful road. ISTR Silverton was quite interesting as a still thriving mining town.

I did the Million Dollar Highway around Labor Day 2018. Gorgeous views and the road was well maintained.
