What are the stock rollers for my 2023 vespa primavera 125 ZAPMD1100. There are so many variations, brand, weight etc. I just want to know what the stock rollers are. Thanks in advance!

we only have one dealership here and it's three hours away. I'm having a problem with my vespa, when I take off from low speeds the transmission sometimes shudders or the scooter jerks forwards but then drives fine. It's crazy expensive to get the scooter transported back to the dealership so I brought it to a local motorcycle mechanic. He said that he'd open up the transmission, clean it up and check if the rollers have any flat spots. He told me to order a set of rollers so that if they need to be changed he can do it right away and my scooter won't be sitting there for days while he waits for them to come in. I didn't want to ask the dealership because I didn't want them to know in case I have any big problem with the scooter later and they void the warranty because I had work done by somebody else.

How many KM are on the scooter? What you're describing is not flat spot rollers behaviour, but bad clutch behaviour. If you put the scooter on the centerstand, start it up and let it idle, once the engine is warmed up, is it easy to stop the rear wheel from spinning with your hand?

The rear wheel usually spins very slowly while it's idling on the center stand, I haven't tried to stop it but with it being so slow I'd imagine that it would be easy to stop. Every now and then when I start the scooter I do notice that the wheel spins much faster but this doesn't happen often at all. Only 3000km on the scooter. It's only a few months old and I know I should realistically be sending it back to the dealership but transport would cost €700 there and back.

Do you baby it away from a stop? Maybe the clutch has become glazed. Do a few aggressive pull aways at maximum throttle and see it that clears it up. I believe your weights are 16g, 20x15 https://modernvespa.com/forum/wiki-standard-roller-weights ⚠️ Last edited by waspmike on UTC; edited 1 time

I believe your weights are 16g, 20x15 https://modernvespa.com/forum/wiki-standard-roller-weights I wouldn't necessarily say that I baby it but I do live and work in a European city with narrow roads that were designed in the middle ages. I don't usually have the opportunity to drive off at maximum throttle, lots of slow moving, stop and go traffic. |

It will make it easier to keep parts in stock though. |
