I have a 2007 Yamaha C3 that one day just would not start. I replaced the fuel pump. I've put a new battery in it. I pulled the injector and hooked it up to a 12 V battery it clicks but when it's hooked up to the motorcycle it doesn't squirt. It's getting power to the injector, but some reason is not allowing it to squirt. I hooked it up to an ohm tester. It reads .013. There is one code flashing. It is a 42 for speed sensor. This part was very hard to come across , it will be here Friday. I'm not sure how a mechanical gear that has no center could keep it from but I'm hoping for the best. Anyone has advice on other things to look for please help because I am running out of ideas.

You'd probably get a better response on the FB C3 page. Speed sensor usually flashes when the scooter has been revved without the front wheel spinning. Put a piece of 1/4 fuel line on the injector. Fill it with carb clean or fuel, re-hook to the power supply. Blow into the hose with your mouth. Do you see a spray now? Soak the injector overnight, and brush it clean with an old toothbrush. The OE Yamaha injector is pretty robust and usually lasts the life of the scooter.
