Morning from an unusually sunny London.....

My 2008 250 GTV has been a reliable workhorse and has been one of my fave Vespa ownership experiences.
On anything up to 30 minutes (through London traffic) the bike is perfect.
However, after 30 / 40 minutes of riding, I get exhaust popping / overruns and every time I roll of the throttle at a stop, the bike stalls. Takes quite a few seconds to start up again.

I assume it's heat related, but can't think why it would be doing this. Bike is standard other than a Leo Vince exhaust (which I don't like and would prefer to return to standard - any tips on where to find a 2008 standard exhaust / part number...?)
But my main question - any educated thoughts on why this might be happening? And how I might be able to sort it...?
Cheers,
Simon

Thanks - so assume the temp of the engine affects the coil?

How many miles on the scooter, and have the valve lash ever been checked? Sounds like it could be a tight exhaust valve closing to zero when the engine heats up.

Hi Abner,
35,000km on the clock - no idea about the valve lash (don't know what that is....)

But sounds like the coil is a good place to start - easy DIY? Or better to take it to the prof's?

I would check the valve clearance first. Scooterwest YouTube channel has a video on how to do this
