Add a 1mm washer between the variator bushing and the driving pulley. This will save the oil sump gasket from being pulled out as well...

Seriously, this will keep the belt from rubbing on any part of the case, and will boost off-the-line acceleration as well. Top speed hardly affected.

I don't know Malossi stuff well enough to comment knowledgeably, but I DO know how to stop the belt rubbing after doing other variator mods such as Dr Pulley sliders.
