Hello frends.

I am contacting you with a problem that there is no spark in the engine. I have checked the cables, the resistances of the sensors give good values according to the service book. But I have a P0335 error code that I read with diagnostics. There is no signal. Does anyone have an idea where to look for the error? The engine revs. and turns on the AC. I bought the engine not long ago, it is not good.

Thank you
Victor

Szia Victor!

P0335 is the error code for the crankshaft sensor, you said "no signal", right?

Are there any other observations apart from it not starting?

Does the fuel pump whir when you turn on the ignition?
Status LED of the immobilizer?

How/when did the fault first occur?

Please tell us the year of manufacture of your Vespa and the first 9 digits of the VIN.

I just bought the engine and it didn't work. The AC pump charges when the ignition is turned on. The immo led blinks steadily when the ignition is turned on. The coils are measured in ohms in the factory manual. The ignition transformer also outputs a signal. ZAPM45200000 year 2010

Only to be clear:

Did you buy the motor separately to install it in an existing frame or did you just buy the scooter (with the motor)?

Was the engine running when you bought the scooter?

Check immobilizer codes: Immobilizer LED codes

It was wrong, that's exactly how I bought it. It didn't work. I just read it with diagnostics.

So it starts.

I'm still not sure if I've understood you...

You bought the Vespa with a defective engine?
(Még mindig nem vagyok biztos benne, hogy megértettem... Megvetted a Vespát hibás motorral?)

Have you checked the Immobilizer codes?

I'm not surprised.

I suggest focusing on the code P0335 which as our German friend said is about the crankshaft sensor, ie nothing to do with the coil.

There may be a signal somewhere else besides this one?

Ok, i thought you meant the *ignition* coil.

So since you've replaced that part it sounds like a problem with the wiring or a relay

thank you, I'm starting to go crazy. It started. I started to disassemble the cable that goes to the ecu and all of a sudden the error code disappeared and it started. Then again it didn't. I measured a break, it didn't break, sometimes there is a signal, sometimes there isn't.
