Thanks to the ever-helpful bunch on here, my rebuilt LML was fine on its first long ride of 3 hours today. Now on the ferry to Corsica for a long weekend of touring (fingers crossed)..

Thanks guys! Made it back without major incident. Four days of stunning riding from 5 degrees on mountain passes still with patches of snow at the side of the road to 25 degrees and barbecues on the beach.

The only minor issue was a bottoming-out rear shock and disintegrated lower shock mount buffer (probably related) which gave a jarring ride 2-up with luggage. More pics later, but here's one of the scoot outside the woodland cabin where we spent the first night.
